Nut
- For the heat shield
- Quantity: 4
- 2 Nm
Heat Shield
- For the fuel tank
Bolt
- Always replace after removing
- 20 Nm +90°
Fuel Return Line
- From the engine
- Do not kink
- Clipped to the fuel tank
- Connector Couplings, Disconnecting and Connecting. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
Fuel Supply Line
- To the fuel filter
- Do not kink
- Clipped to the fuel tank
- Connector Couplings, Disconnecting and Connecting. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
Fuel Line
- For versions with parking/auxiliary heater
- Do not kink
- Connector Couplings, Disconnecting and Connecting. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
Fuel Tank
- Allocation. Refer to the => Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
- Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL TANK, REMOVING, TDI VEHICLES WITH FWD, WITHOUT HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .
- Fuel filler neck ground connection for discharging electrostatic charge. Refer to OVERVIEW - FUEL TANK, TDI VEHICLES WITH FWD AND MULTI-LINK SUSPENSION .
Bolt
- Quantity: 2
- Always replace after removing
- 8 Nm +90°
Misfueling Guard
- Removing and installing. Refer to MISFUELING GUARD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Locking Ring
- For misfueling guard
Cap
- Turn until it clicks into place.
- Attached to the fuel filler door unit with a fastener
End Piece
- Push all the way on the connecting piece on the fuel filler neck
Right Mounting Strap
- Secured to the fuel tank with expanding clips.
Bolt
- Always replace after removing
- 20 Nm +90°
Bolt
- Always replace after removing
- 20 Nm +90°
Left Mounting Strap
- Secured to the fuel tank with expanding clips.
Bolt
- Always replace after removing
- 20 Nm +90°
Left Underbody Trim Panel
- Nut: 2 Nm
Bolt
- Always replace after removing
- 20 Nm +90°
Right Underbody Trim Panel
- Nut: 2 Nm
