Control Module, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Replace the O-rings -1- and -2-.
-- Coat the O-rings -1- and -2- lightly with all-wheel drive clutch oil.
-- Press the All-Wheel Drive Control Module -J492- all the way into the all-wheel drive clutch housing.
-- Tighten the bolts -arrows-.
-- Connect the connector -1-.
-- Add all-wheel drive clutch oil and check the oil level in the all-wheel drive clutch. Refer to Fill the All-Wheel Drive Clutch Oil .
- If a new control module is installed, a basic setting must be performed.
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester with the vehicle and start the Diagnostic mode.
