All-Wheel Drive Clutch, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Remove the old O-ring -arrow- from the all-wheel drive clutch.

-- Insert the new O-ring -arrow- and lightly lubricate with all-wheel drive clutch oil.

-- Insert the all-wheel drive clutch -1- in the rear final drive. Install the Guide Pins:T10093 for exact guidance.

-- Rotate at flange/driveshaft -2- and insert the all-wheel drive clutch all the way.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification.

-- Connect the connector -1- for the AWD Control Module -J492-.

-- Attach the driveshaft to the rear final drive. Refer to DRIVESHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Align the intermediate bearing in the oblong holes so that neither the driveshaft nor the intermediate bearing are under stress.

-- Install the exhaust system and align it without tension. Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER .

-- Add all-wheel drive clutch oil and check the oil level in the all-wheel drive clutch. Refer to Fill the All-Wheel Drive Clutch Oil .
