Glove Compartment, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front passenger side instrument panel side cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Cover, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the footwell lamp. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL LAMPS .

-- Open the glove compartment lid.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Disengage the glove compartment -1- at the side from the pin -arrow-.

-- Slightly remove the glove compartment -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector and remove it.

North American market-specific

-- Remove the glove compartment -1-, until the connector -2- can be disconnected.

CAUTION:

Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.

Risk of injury.

- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.

-- Open the connector lock -A- with a screwdriver -arrow- and disconnect the connector.
