Rear Final Drive
- Bolt
- 50 Nm + 180°
- Always replace.
- Subframe
- Removing and Installing. Refer to the appropriate service information .
- Driveshaft
- Removing and Installing. Refer to DRIVESHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Removing and installing on the rear final drive. Refer to DRIVE SHAFT, REMOVING FROM REAR FINAL DRIVE AND INSTALLING .
- Rear Final Drive
- Refer to FINAL DRIVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Stop Buffer
- Installation position: rubber side faces downward toward the final drive
- Nut
- Heat Shield
Different versions
- Assembly on the side with three bolts; tightening specification ) OVERVIEW - REAR FINAL DRIVE, AUDI Q5, A6, A7 AND A8
- Assembly from below with the two bolts; tightening specification. Refer to Fig 2.

- 23 Nm
- Not installed on all versions
- Drive Axle
- Removing and Installing. Refer to the appropriate service information .
- Nut
- 20 Nm
- Front Bonded Rubber Bushing
- Removing and Installing. Refer to BONDED RUBBER BUSHING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 70 Nm + 180°
- Always replace.
- There are different bolt lengths. Refer to Parts Information for the allocation.
- Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing
- Removing and Installing. Refer to the appropriate service information .
- Nut
