Oil Pan Lower Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Drain the engine oil. Refer to ENGINE OIL .

-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 20-.

-- Carefully loosen the oil pan lower section from the adhesive at the locating tabs -arrow-, using a extractor lever.

-- Carefully separate the oil pan from the cylinder block.

-- If the oil pan lower section is replaced, remove the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-. Refer to Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
