Engine Support, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Remove the oil filter element. Refer to ENGINE OIL .

Vehicles with parking/auxiliary heater:

-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray:VAS 6208  underneath.

-- Lift up the clamps -arrows-, remove the coolant hoses and press to the side.

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 3- for the pendulum support (example illustration above).

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- (example illustration below).

-- Remove the engine mount. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the Oil Pressure Switch -F22- (example illustration below).

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the bracket -1-.

-- Raise the engine using the Engine Support Bridge - Spindle:10 - 222 A /11  until each bolt in the engine support is accessible.

-- Remove the bolts -1, 2, and 3-.

-- If necessary, lower the engine using the Engine Support Bridge - Spindle:10-222A/11  to the installation position and remove the engine support.
