Bonded rubber bushing installation position to trailing arm:

- The brace -1- of the bonded rubber bushing must align with the marked line -arrows-.
-- Position the special tool as shown:
- Press Piece - Multiple Use:VW412
- Press Piece - Trailing Arm Bushing:T10496
- Bonded Rubber Bushing
- Trailing Arm
- Bearing Installer - Wheel Bearing:3345
- Press Plate:VW402
-- Install the bonded rubber bushing until it reaches dimension -a-.
- Trailing arm recess measuring point -1-
- Rubber bushing measuring point -2-
- Dimension -a- = 14.8 mm.
-- Attach the trailing arm to the mounting bracket. Refer to Mounting Bracket Installation Position to Trailing Arm, Adjusting .
-- Install the trailing arm with the mounting bracket. Refer to TRAILING ARM WITH MOUNTING BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
