Bolt
- 50 Nm +45°
- Replace after removing
Shock Absorber
- Allocation. Refer to the => Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
- Removing and Installing. Refer to SHOCK ABSORBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- After replacing one or both shock absorbers on a vehicle with electronic damping, perform the basic setting of the electronic damping function. Refer to ELECTRONIC DAMPING BASIC SETTING .
- Vent and discharge faulty shock absorbers before disposal. Refer to REAR GAS-FILLED SHOCK ABSORBERS, VENTING AND DRAINING
Upper Spring Support
- Place on body "tab".
Coil Spring
- Allocation. Refer to the => Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
- Pay attention to the installation position (refer to the graphic under OVERVIEW - SHOCK ABSORBER AND SPRING, TORSION BEAM AXLE ), if necessary mark the installation position for reinstallation with paint.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to SPRING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Clip
- Serves as an assembly aid
Lower Spring Support
- Spring end rotated up to stop
- Insert the pin of the lower spring support in the hole of the lower spring mount on the axle beam -arrow-
Lower Transverse Link
Nut
- 70 Nm +180°
- Replace after removing
- Tighten the threaded connections in the curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRING .
Bolt
- Replace after removing
