Seat Occupant Detection System, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front passenger seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Attach the front seat to the seat repair bracket. Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the control module for seat functions. Refer to SEAT ADJUSTMENT CONTROL MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release and disconnect the connector for the Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706-.

-- Free up the electrical wire.

-- Remove the seat trim panel bracket. Refer to SEAT TRIM PANEL BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the modular wiring routing. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT SEAT .

-- Open the corrugated tube and free up the wire.

-- Remove the nut -arrow A- and free up the wire.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -B arrows- and free up the wire.

-- Unclip and free up the wiring harness from the seat pan.

-- Remove the cover and cushion of the seat pan. Refer to SEAT PAN COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Separate the cover and cushion from the seat pan. Refer to COVER, SEPARATING FROM SEAT PAN CUSHION .
