-- Remove the trim from the backrest. Refer to BACKREST TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove backrest blower fan. Refer to BACKREST FAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disengage the molding -2- from the cover on the bracket -3-.

-- Unclip the clip -arrow- for the thorax airbag pocket -1- from the backrest frame using the Pry Lever:80-200 .

-- Equipment version: disconnect the connector -3- for the seat heating and free up.

-- Guide the cover and cushion under the backrest frame toward the front.

-- Loosen the cover and cushion from the backrest frame.

Vehicles with Sport Seats (Q1J)

-- Remove the massage function valve block. Refer to MASSAGE FUNCTION VALVE BLOCK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the pneumatic lines for the massage mat from the connector couplings -arrows-. Refer to PNEUMATIC LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Disengage the pneumatic lines for the massage mat from the bracket and free it up and guide forward with the pneumatic line connector -1-.

-- Disengage the rubber grommet -2- for the fan on the bracket.

-- Loosen the cover and cushion from the backrest frame and remove them.
