SUBFRAME, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Tighten the subframe bolts and tighten in a diagonal sequence without an additional turn.

WARNING:

Risk of accident!

If the vehicle will be driving on the streets, all bolts and nuts must be tightened properly according to the guidelines.

-- AWD equipment versions: install the driveshaft. Refer to DRIVESHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the rear brake caliper. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipment versions with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC): fill the dynamic ride control system. Refer to DYNAMIC RIDE CONTROL (DRC), DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- A road test must be performed after completing repairs. If the steering wheel is crooked, the wheels must be aligned. Refer to AXLE ALIGNMENT .
