NOTE:

The replacement compressor contains the full quantity of oil intended for the refrigerant circuit. If the A/C compressor is being replaced, the quantity of oil in the A/C compressor must be adjusted. Refer to Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT COMPONENTS, REPLACING .

Since the A/C compressor is continuously running with the engine and the entire quantity of refrigerant oil is contained in the A/C compressor, the circuit must be completely assembled before starting the engine. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit (vehicle-specific repair information).

This A/C compressor is available as a replacement part with different oil capacities, therefore note the exact part number. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information.
