Condensers, Removing And Installing, S4/S5 TDI Gen III And RS Models: Removing

• For all following procedures immediately seal all the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set:VAS6122  .
• Pay attention to the notes for the condenser. Refer to RADIATOR AND CONDENSER ASSEMBLY .

-- Remove the bumper cover bracket together with the impact member. Refer to OVERVIEW - LOCK CARRIER and Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

-- Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the condenser. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING FROM CONDENSER .

S4/S5 TDI Gen III

-- Release the catches -arrow- and remove the air duct -1 and 3-.

RS Models

-- Release the catches in direction of -arrow- and remove the air duct -1 and 3-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the High Pressure Sensor -G65-.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Release the left and right catches in direction of -arrows-, disengage and remove the condenser on the radiator.
