Glass Trim, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Prepare the new glass trim for installation. Refer to NEW GLASS TRIM, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .

-- Insert the new glass trim and align, at the same time pay attention to the following points:

• Glass panel closed.
• The sealing lip on the cover profile -3- of the windshield -1- must contact the glass trim -2- and must point upward -arrow-. For this, attach the sealing lip with adhesive tape to the windshield or place a used cutting wire behind it.

• Check or correct installation dimensions. Refer to GLASS PANEL, ADJUSTING .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Observe minimum curing times. Refer to MINIMUM CURING TIME FOR BONDED SLIDING SUNROOF .

-- Open the glass panel.

-- Perform an adaptation. Refer to Sunroof Motor -V1-, PROGRAMMING .
