Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel, Removing And Installing, A5 SPORTBACK: Removing

-- Remove the front luggage compartment cover.

-- Driver side: if installed, remove the power pivoting trailer hitch button. Refer to OVERVIEW - CONTROLS IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT .

-- Remove the luggage compartment lamp. Refer to OVERVIEW - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LAMPS .

-- Remove the side cushion. Refer to SIDE CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the tie-downs. Refer to TIE DOWN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the luggage compartment floor panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 G-TRON .

-- Remove the lock carrier trim panel. Refer to LOCK CARRIER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Turn the quick release -1- 90° counter-clockwise and pivot the service cover inward.

-- If equipped, disconnect the connector.

-- Remove the service cover -2- upward from the luggage compartment side trim panel in direction of -arrow-.

-- Free up the luggage compartment side trim panel in the area of the rear lid seal.

-- Unclip the luggage compartment side trim panel -1- from the body and the trim panels in direction of -arrows-.

-- Disengage the luggage compartment side trim panel from the rear seat backrest catch.

-- Remove the luggage compartment side trim panel.
