Intake Manifold, Removing And Installing, 3.0L Engine, AUDI A4/A5/A6/A7/Q5
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Socket T30 :T10405
The crankcase ventilation hose cannot be separated from the intake manifold. Note the information -item 11-.
Removing
-- Pay attention to the repair information. Refer to REPAIR INFORMATION .
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to Front Bumper .
Audi A4/A5:
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the air guide -2-.
Audi A6/A7:
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the air duct.
Audi Q5:
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and air duct -1-.
All:
-- Loosen the hose clamp -2- and remove the air duct pipe.
-- Free up the wiring harness -3-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the intake manifold and crankcase ventilation hose -1- by pressing the release buttons on both sides.
-- If installed, remove the hose -1- for the EVAP system by pushing the release buttons on both sides.
-- Remove the crankcase ventilation hose -arrows- by pressing the release buttons on both sides.
-- Remove the intake manifold.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:
- Check the O-rings for damage. Refer to Figure.
