Oil Pan Lower Section, Removing And Installing

Removing 

-- Remove the front left and right wheel spoilers. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Remove the rear noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and free up the bracket -1- with the wiring harness.

-- Remove the left and right lower bolt -1- for the support bearing -2-.

-- Remove the left and right bolt -2- from the engine mount.

-- Support the engine in the installation position. Refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLATION POSITION .

TIP:

Risk of damaging the drive axle: when lifting the engine the drive axles must not come into contact with the suspension struts.

-- Lift the engine using the : 10-222A/11  -1- to dimension -a-.

• Dimension -a- = approximately 20 mm.

Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Tightening Specifications 

• Refer to OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME MOUNT
• Wiring harness bracket. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.
• Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
• Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
