Front Seatback

-- Remove seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, MANUAL .

-- Remove head restraint. Refer to REAR BACKREST ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW .

-- Remove seat back from seat frame. Refer to FRONT BACKREST ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW .

-- Pry cover reinforcement out of seatback cover with flat plastic wedge -arrow-.

-- Unscrew two securing bolts on underside of seat-back cover.

-- Remove seat-back cover downward.

-- Using pliers, as shown, press headrest guides together, and push out.

-- Fold over seat cover.

-- Cut through clips and remove seat cover.

-- Bend open upholstery hooks -1-.

-- Remove old clips.

-- Install new clips at same points with :VAG1634  or equivalent.

Rear Seat

-- Remove rear seat cushion. Refer to REAR SEAT CUSHION .

-- Cut through clips.

-- Fold over seat cover.

-- Cut through clips.

-- Remove seat cover.

-- Take out seat upholstery.

-- Remove old clips.

-- Install new clips at same points with :VAG1634  or equivalent.

Rear Seatback

-- Remove rear seat back. Refer to FRONT BACKREST ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW .

-- Remove center arm rest by unscrewing 4 securing bolts on seat back.

-- Cut through clips.

-- Remove old clips.
