There Is a Risk of Injury If the Sway Stabilization Makes Unintended Adjustments.
- Only work on the sway stabilization with the ignition switched off.
-- De-energize the 48 Volt system. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
Vehicle with Sway Stabilization Control Module -J924- in Right Front Wheel Housing
-- Remove the right front wheel. Refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .
-- Remove the right front wheel housing liner rear section. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2- for the Sway Stabilization Control Module -J924-. Free up the wires. Refer to LINE ROUTING AND SECURING .
There Is a Risk of Malfunction from Corrosion in the Connector.
- When removing and installing the stabilizer bar with sway stabilization the wiring harness may not be removed from the stabilizer bar with sway stabilization. The connector must not be removed from the stabilizer bar with sway stabilization.
Vehicle with Sway Stabilization Control Module -J924- in Vehicle Interior on Right A-Pillar
-- Disconnect the connectors -1- from the right longitudinal member.
-- Free up the wire -2- to the stabilizer bar.
There Is a Risk of Malfunction from Corrosion in the Connector.
- When removing and installing the stabilizer bar with sway stabilization the wiring harness may not be removed from the stabilizer bar with sway stabilization. The connector must not be removed from the stabilizer bar with sway stabilization.

-- Remove the subframe crossbrace. Refer to SUBFRAME CROSSBRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the nut -arrow- and free up the sway stabilization ground wire.
-- Support the stabilizer bar -2- with sway stabilization using the : VAS6931 and place a block of wood -1- underneath.
-- Disconnect the left and right threaded connections -1- between the control arm and shock absorber fork.
-- Remove the bolt and press the shock absorber fork to the side.
-- Remove the left and right bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the nut -3-.
-- Remove the left and right clamp -1- and bolt -4-.
-- Remove the stabilizer bar -2- with sway stabilization.
