Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Make sure the connectors are pushed in all the way and that they engage audibly.
• Perform the Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706- basic setting

-- Check and erase the airbag control module DTC memory because faults can be stored from when the connectors are disconnected. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Installation instructions: for example tightening specifications, replacing components. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM - Tighten the screws -2- to 1.5 Nm. .
