Refrigerant Receiver, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

There is refrigerant oil in the removed refrigerant receiver that must be redelivered to the refrigerant circuit if one of the components is replaced. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit Components, Replacing or COMPONENTS, REPLACING .

-- Replace the O-rings. Refer to SEALS AND GASKETS and the Parts Information for the version.

-- Check the routing of the refrigerant lines after attaching. They must be inserted into the provided brackets and must not come in contact with other components.

-- Evacuate and fill the refrigerant circuit. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit or Working with A/C Service Station .

-- Initiate the basic setting of the A/C system through the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- and activate the power-controlled valves using one of the routines stored there. "Charge/flush the refrigerant circuit stop routine" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Start the A/C system after charging the refrigerant circuit. Refer to A/C SYSTEM, STARTING AFTER CHARGING REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
