Overview - SUBFRAME

CAUTION:
There is a risk of damaging the threads on the subframe threaded connection to the body.
- The subframe bolts on the body must not be loosened or tightened with an impact wrench.
- Always install all bolts by hand for the first few turns.
- Bolt
- 50 Nm + 180°
- Replace after removing
- Balance Weight
- Slanted surface faces upward
- Bolt
- 130 Nm + 180°
- Replace after removing
- Front Bonded Rubber Bushing
- For the subframe
- Removing and installing. Refer to SUBFRAME, SERVICING .
- Subframe
- Securing. Refer to SUBFRAME, SECURING .
- Removing and installing. Refer to SUBFRAME, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Spring Nut
- Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing
- For the rear final drive
- Removing and installing. Refer to SUBFRAME, SERVICING .
- Installation position. Refer to Fig 3.
- Steering Adapter
- Equipped on some models
- Installation position. Refer to Fig 4.
- Bolt
- 90 Nm + 180°
- Replace after removing
- Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing
- For the subframe
- Removing and installing. Refer to SUBFRAME, SERVICING .
- Bolt
- 90 Nm + 180°
- Replace after removing
Subframe Hydraulic Front Bonded Rubber Bushing Installation Position
- The groves -arrows- are perpendicular to the direction of travel.
Rear Bonded Rubber Bushings Installation Position for the Rear Final Drive.
- The grooves -arrows- on the bonded rubber bushings -1- are at a right angle.
Steering Adapter/Subframe Threaded Connection
Only equipped on some models
WARNING:
Risk of accident!
- If the vehicle will be driving on the streets, all bolts and nuts must be tightened properly according to the guidelines.
- Replace the bolts after removing them.
-- Bring the steering adapter -1- into the installation position and install the bolts -arrows- all the way by hand.
-- Align the steering adapter with the Locking Pin: T40393 to the subframe and tighten the bolts -item 9- OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME.
