Overview - SUBFRAME

CAUTION:

There is a risk of damaging the threads on the subframe threaded connection to the body.

  • The subframe bolts on the body must not be loosened or tightened with an impact wrench.
  • Always install all bolts by hand for the first few turns.

  1. Bolt
    • 50 Nm + 180°
    • Replace after removing
  2. Balance Weight
    • Slanted surface faces upward
  3. Bolt
    • 130 Nm + 180°
    • Replace after removing
  4. Front Bonded Rubber Bushing
  5. Subframe
  6. Spring Nut
  7. Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing
    • For the rear final drive
    • Removing and installing. Refer to SUBFRAME, SERVICING .
    • Installation position. Refer to Fig 3.
  8. Steering Adapter
    • Equipped on some models
    • Installation position. Refer to Fig 4.
  9. Bolt
    • 90 Nm + 180°
    • Replace after removing
  10. Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing
  11. Bolt
    • 90 Nm + 180°
    • Replace after removing

WARNING:

Risk of accident!

  • If the vehicle will be driving on the streets, all bolts and nuts must be tightened properly according to the guidelines.

-- Bring the steering adapter -1- into the installation position and install the bolts -arrows- all the way by hand.

-- Align the steering adapter with the Locking Pin: T40393  to the subframe and tighten the bolts -item 9-  OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME.
