Battery, 48 V -A6-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 0K4 AND VH2: Removing

-- Remove the front luggage compartment floor. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the wiring harness -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Place the cover plate -2- with the Terminal 40 Wire Junction 2 -TV67- to the side.

-- Visually inspect and classify the Battery, 48 V -A6-. Refer to Battery, 48 V -A6-, VISUALLY INSPECTING AND CLASSIFYING .

-- De-energize the 48V system and disconnect the Battery -A-. Refer to Battery -A-, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, 0K4 AND VH2 .

-- Free up the wiring harness -2 and 3-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Release the catches, remove the cap -4- over the battery positive terminal and battery negative terminal.

-- Remove the nut -arrow- and remove the battery terminal clamps from the battery terminals.

-- Remove the pressure equalization hose -1- by pressing the catches on both sides.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Lift the battery -2- out of the luggage compartment.

-- Remove the Battery, 48 V -A6- from the protective housing. Refer to PROTECTIVE HOUSING FOR Battery, 48 V -A6-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 0K4 AND VH2 .
