Overview - Condenser

  1. Receiver/Dryer
  2. Condenser
    • On vehicles with a high-voltage system the High Pressure Sensor -G65- will be omitted from end of 05/2017. Refer to the Parts Information. The A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor -G395- assumes the function of the High Pressure Sensor -G65- on these vehicles.
    • On vehicles without High Pressure Sensor -G65- no connection is present from the manufacturer. If on vehicles without a High Pressure Sensor -G65- a condenser with this connection is installed, connect this connection with a closure cap (or with a High Pressure Sensor -G65- which is without function).
    • There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information.
    • Refrigerant Lines, Disconnecting and Connecting. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING FROM CONDENSER .
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to CONDENSER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • There are different versions (with and without connection for the High Pressure Sensor -G65-). Refer to Parts Information.
  3. Sealing Surfaces in the Receiver/Dryer
    • Check for contamination or damage
  4. Plug with Filter Element
  5. O-Ring
    • Replace after removing
    • Version. Refer to the Parts Information
    • Coat with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS .
  6. O-Ring
    • Replace after removing
    • Version. Refer to the Parts Information
    • Coat with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS .
