Side Spoiler, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Check the foam seal -1- for damage.

• The vehicle and the spoiler must be at room temperature.
• The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.

-- Remove the adhesive residue from the body.

-- Coat the adhesive surfaces of the glass side with Cleaning Solution and let it dry.

-- Fold back the ends of the protective film -3-, or attach a pulling aid -4- to the protective film -3-.

-- Guide the centering pin into the rear lid -arrow- and push up all the way.

-- Align the spoiler -2- on the rear lid -5- while paying attention to the adjustment dimensions ADJUSTMENT DIMENSIONS .

-- Remove the peel-off backing -3- from the tape.

-- Press on over the entire length of the spoiler -2- using the Roller: T40400  .

• Resting time approximately 30 minutes at room temperature
