DTC Memory, Checking

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2024 Audi SQ8, 2024 Audi Q8, 2023 Audi SQ8, 2023 Audi RS Q8, and 2023 Audi Q8. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:

Alternative to the ODIS procedures "DTC memory: read out", "Transport mode: deactivate", "Service interval display: reset", "Vehicle transport mode: deactivate", "Battery: read condition" and "ERA-Glonass: check emergency call function ", the test program Full pre-delivery inspection  can be performed.

At the end of the Full pre-delivery inspection  test program, there is a summary to compare with the maintenance table and the maintenance items can be checked off.

Procedure:

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER, CONNECTING .

-- Select the Diagnostic  mode and start the diagnosis.

-- Perform the vehicle identification.

-- Set and press Accept  to select "Work with Guided Fault Finding".

The control module identification and checking the DTC memory occurs next. Observe the instructions and test conditions.

-- Switch to the "Control modules" tab and open the "DTC memory list" to view all of the stored DTC memory entries.

-- Correct any relevant errors and erase the DTC memory.

NOTE:

After properly exiting the Guided Fault Finding, the DTC memory is automatically erased.
