Transmission Fluid Pan, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

-- Remove the subframe crossbrace. Refer to SUBFRAME CROSSBRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the suspension components.

Do not rest the vehicle on its wheels if the assembly mounts, the steering gear or the subframe crossbrace are not installed correctly.

-- Remove the transmission support with the transmission mount. Refer to ASSEMBLY MOUNTS .

-- If equipped, release and disconnect the right connector on the transmission -1-.

-- Free up the wiring harness -2- -arrows-.

-- Drain the ATF. Refer to ATF, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the bolts from the ATF pan in the sequence -12 through 1-.

-- Remove the ATF oil pan.
