- Brake line to brake hose tightening specification: 14 Nm

- Allocation. Refer to the appropriate Parts Information.
- Make sure the brake hose is routed correctly. Make sure the brake hose is not blocked, bent, twisted or rubbing against the vehicle.
- Make sure that tabs are properly seated in the grooves on the bracket.
- Brake hose to brake caliper tightening specification. Refer to Figure.
- Brake Pad Wear Indicator Wire
- Replace when replacing the brake pads.

- Before installing coat thinly using Lubricating Grease. For the allocation, refer to the appropriate Parts Information.

- Always replace a damaged spring
- Note the installation position

- Replace damaged bolts
- Always replace self-locking bolts.
- Clean bolts before reusing

- Brake Caliper
- Brake Pads
- Always replace on both axles.
- Interior brake pad in the brake caliper with brake pad wear sensor
- Checking pad thickness. Refer to BRAKE PADS, CHECKING THICKNESS for the wear limit.
- Allocation. Refer to the appropriate Parts Information.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, RSQ8 .

- Replace damaged bolts
- Always replace self-locking bolts.
- Clean bolts before reusing
- Brake Rotor
- Always replace on both sides of the axle
- Allocation. Refer to the appropriate Parts Information.
- Do not use excessive force to separate the brake rotor from the wheel hub. Use rust remover, if necessary, otherwise the brake rotor could be damaged.
When changing the brake pad, always check the brake rotor wear limit. Refer to TECHNICAL DATA, BRAKES .
- Ceramic brake rotor: wear values. Refer to Determining Wear on Ceramic Brakes: .
