Intake Manifold, Removing And Installing, 2.9L Engine: Removing

-- Pay attention to the repair information. Refer to REPAIR INFORMATION .

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the hose clamp -right arrow-, and remove the air duct hose -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-. Remove the air guide -1-.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -right arrow-, and remove the air duct hose -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector and free up the wiring harness.

1. For the Charge Air Cooler Temperature Sensor 2 -G764-
2. For the Charge Air Cooler Temperature Sensor 1 -G763-

-- Remove the oil filter element (refer to ENGINE OIL ) and cover the opening with a clean cloth.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the crankcase ventilation hose -2- by pressing the release buttons on both sides.

-- Free up the intake manifold -1-.
