Engine Temperature Control Temperature Sensor -G694- , REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required 

Procedure 

Preliminary work may be required depending on the model. Refer to ENGINE TEMPERATURE CONTROL TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G694-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING / COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING  .

-- Remove the engine cover and heat shield. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- , remove the coolant pipes from the turbochargers and push to the side.

-- Remove the bolt -2- .

-- Remove the Engine Temperature Control Sensor -G694- and disconnect the connector -1- using needle nose pliers.

-- Insert the engine coolant temperature sensor using needle nose pliers.

-- Install the right rear large coolant pipe. Refer to COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the heat shield and engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
