Rear Brake Pads: Installing
-- Insert special tool :3272 so that the shoulder (arrow) is positioned in front of caliper piston.
-- Screw in piston as far as stop by turning threaded spindle clockwise, and simultaneously turning knurled wheel counterclockwise.
NOTE:
If the piston does not move easily, a 13 mm open-end wrench can be used on the flats provided.
-- Install brake pads in carrier.
-- Install brake caliper housing and tighten.
Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ft lb)
NOTE:
Four self-locking bolts are included in the repair kit and they must all be installed.
WARNING:
Perform basic adjustment of rear wheel brake thoroughly each time brake pads are changed REAR BRAKES, BASIC ADJUSTMENT .
