Airbag Spiral Spring: Removing
NOTE:
When removing or installing the airbag spiral spring, the wheels should be in the straight ahead position.
-- Disconnect battery ground cable.
-- Disconnect airbag power supply connector.
-- Remove airbag unit and steering wheel. Refer to AIRBAG II, MY 1993 .
-- Remove screws -arrows-.
-- Disconnect lock plate -A-.
-- Remove airbag spiral spring from behind.
NOTE:
When removed, airbag spiral spring must not be twisted.
