    • Loosen bolts  SPORT STEERING WHEEL WITH AIRBAG ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW => List Item: Bolts, Airbag from back side.
    • Torx bolt -T30- ; 6 Nm (53 in lb)
    • Remove airbag  SPORT STEERING WHEEL WITH AIRBAG ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW => List Item: Airbag and disconnect connector.
      NOTE:

      When installing the airbag unit in the steering wheel, tighten the right Torx bolt first. Only then tighten the left Torx bolt, 6 Nm (53 in lb).

      1995 series production vehicles can be converted to the airbag sport steering wheel. The airbag sport steering wheel, airbag, and plate must be ordered. The sticker with the expiration date must be removed from the new airbag and placed on the lower part of the driver-side B-pillar.
