Engine, Removing From Scissor Lift Table

Procedure

Engine/transmission assembly removed and separated on the Scissor Lift Table: VAS6131B . Refer to ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION, SEPARATING .

CAUTION:

Risk of injury due to the engine weight shifting.

The possibility for parts of the body to be pinched or crushed increases.

- Transport the engine only without the transmission using the method described.

-- Attach the Lift Arm Extension: VAS6101 to the Shop Crane: VAS6100 .

-- Engage the Lifting Tackle: 3033 on the engine lifting eyes and on the workshop crane as shown.

-- Remove the Engine Support: T10533/1 from the engine.

-- Remove the left and right bolt -2- from the engine mount.
