Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With Electromechanical Brake Booster: Removing

-- Disconnect the brake pedal from the brake booster. Refer to BRAKE PEDAL, DISCONNECTING FROM BRAKE BOOSTER .

-- Remove the plenum chamber bulkhead. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER BULKHEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the steering column from the instrument panel crossmember and set it aside. Refer to STEERING COLUMN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -3- and free up the wire.

-- Remove the bolt -2- and nuts -arrows-, then remove the mounting bracket -1- with the brake pedal and accelerator pedal module installed.

-- Remove the brake pedal. Refer to BRAKE PEDAL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH ELECTROMECHANICAL BRAKE BOOSTER .

-- Remove the accelerator pedal module. Refer to ACCELERATOR PEDAL MODULE -GX2-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
