Brake Pedal, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With Dual Clutch/Automatic Transmission: Installing

NOTE:
Clean the bolts and nuts before reusing.
Replace the damaged bolts and nuts. Refer to the Parts Information.
Replace the self-locking bolts and nuts. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - BRAKE PEDAL .
NOTE:
Do not grease or oil the bearing pin.
The bearing pin must be dry.
-- Slide the left retainer -12- onto the bearing pin.
-- Slide the bearing pin from left to right through the axle in the brake pedal.
-- Secure the bearing pin with the right retainer -5-.
The bearing pin must be secured with the securing clips -5 and 12- on both sides.
-- Install the bolt -11- and tighten.
-- Refer to BRAKE PEDAL, ATTACHING TO BRAKE BOOSTER .

Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
