Transmission Fluid Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing

CAUTION:
Risk of transmission damage.
- Do not run engine or tow the vehicle with transmission fluid pan removed or without transmission fluid.
NOTE:
Follow the rules for clean working conditions. Refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
General repair instructions. Refer to GENERAL REPAIR INFORMATION .
-- Drain gear oil. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID, DRAINING AND FILLING and leave :SMN372500 below.
-- Remove the left front wheel housing liner. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the transmission fluid pump cover -A- while letting the gear oil remaining in cover drain into :SMN372500 .
-- Remove the bolts, use the :T10054 for the upper bolt -arrow-.
-- Remove the transmission fluid pump from the alignment pins and the input shaft.
