1. Bolt
   • Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - REAR AXLE SPEED SENSOR .
2. Rear Speed Sensor
   • Removing and installing. Refer to RIGHT/LEFT REAR ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR -G44- / -G46-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
3. Wheel Bearing Housing
   • Removing and installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FWD VEHICLES .
4. Bonded Rubber Bushing
   • Replacing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING HOUSING BONDED RUBBER BUSHING, REPLACING .
5. Bolt
   • Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - REAR BRAKES .
6. Brake Rotor
   • Removing and installing. Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BRAKES
7. Bolt
   • Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - REAR BRAKES .
8. Dust Cap
   • Replace after removing
   • Removing and installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FWD VEHICLES .
   • A perfect seal is only achieved using a new dust cap.
9. Bolt
   • 200 Nm + 180° additional turn
   • Replace after removing.
   • Clean the threads in the wheel bearing housing with a thread tap before installing.
   • Bolt, Loosening and Tightening. Refer to DRIVE AXLE THREADED CONNECTION, LOOSENING AND TIGHTENING .
10. Wheel Bearing Unit
    • Removing and installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FWD VEHICLES .
    • The wheel bearing and wheel hub are installed together in one housing.
    • The wheel bearing unit is maintenance free and has zero play. Adjusting or servicing is not possible!
      CAUTION:

      • When setting down/storing avoid contaminating with dirt and damaging the seal. Refer to Removing - The wheel bearing -1- must face up in order to remove the wheel bearing unit. .
11. Brake Shield
    • Removing and installing. Refer to BRAKE SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BRAKES .
