Battery, Disconnecting And Connecting: Connecting

WARNING:
Risk of airbag deployment after incorrect repair when disconnecting the battery.
- Risk of injury! There must not be anyone in the vehicle interior when connecting the battery.
-- Disconnect the connector -2- from the Battery Monitoring Control Module -J367- -3-.
-- Attach the battery ground cable clamp by hand to the battery negative terminal "-" and tighten the nut -1-.
-- Reconnect the connector to the Battery Monitoring Control Module -J367-.
WARNING:
Risk of airbag deployment after incorrect repair when disconnecting the battery.
- Risk of injury! Switching on the ignition (key/button) after assembly may only be done when the driver seat is positioned all the way back.
When the battery is reconnected, the following steps must be performed:
- Activate the power window regulator one-touch up/down function. Refer to the Owner's Manual.
- Check DTC memories of all control modules and delete the displayed entry "Undervoltage" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
NOTE:
After reconnecting the power supply, the ESP warning lamp can only go out after the vehicle has been driven a few meters.
