Brake Line
- 14 Nm
  WARNING:
  - Do not damage the brake hose and brake line.
  - Do not bend the brake line past the specified form.
  - A damaged brake hose or a damaged or bent brake line must be replaced.
Bracket
- For the brake line/hose
- On the body
Spring
- Replace if damaged
Brake Hose
- Make sure it is in the installation position
  WARNING:
  - Do not damage the brake hose and brake line.
  - Do not bend the brake line past the specified form.
  - A damaged brake hose or a damaged or bent brake line must be replaced.
Bleeder Screw
- 10 Nm
Protective Cap
Seal
- Replace after removing
Bolt
- 8 Nm
Parking Brake Motor
- Refer to PARKING BRAKE
- Refer to PARKING BRAKE, MANUALLY LOOSENING
Cap
- For the guide pins
Guide Pin
- 35 Nm
Wheel Bearing Housing
Bolt
- 90 Nm + 90°
  NOTE:
  Clean bolts before reusing.
  
  Replace damaged bolts.
  
  Always replace self-locking bolts.
Brake Shield
- Removing and installing. Refer to BRAKE SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BRAKES
Brake Rotor
- Do not use excessive force to separate the brake rotor from the wheel hub. Use rust remover, if necessary, otherwise the brake rotor could be damaged.
- Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BRAKES
  WARNING:
  If a brake rotor is damaged or worn, check the other brake rotors for damage and wear.
Bolt
- 12 Nm
  NOTE:
  Clean bolts before reusing.
  
  Replace damaged bolts.
  
  Always replace self-locking bolts.
Bolt
- 8 Nm
  NOTE:
  Clean bolts before reusing.
  
  Replace damaged bolts.
  
  Always replace self-locking bolts.
Brake Carrier
- Removing and installing. Refer to BRAKE CARRIER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BRAKES
Spring
Outer Brake Pad
- Check the pad thickness. Refer to BRAKE PADS, CHECKING THICKNESS .
- Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BRAKES
- Always replace on both axles.
- Refer to Fig 2
  NOTE:
  Coat the brake pad plates with grease.
  
  Coat the guide pin with lithium grease.
Inner Brake Pad
- Always replace on both axles.
- With spring
- Check the pad thickness. Refer to BRAKE PADS, CHECKING THICKNESS .
- Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BRAKES
- Refer to Fig 2
  NOTE:
  Coat the brake pad plates with grease.
  
  Coat the guide pin with lithium grease.
Brake Caliper
- Do not remove the brake hose when changing the brake pads.
- Removing and installing. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BRAKES
- Replacing. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REPLACING, REAR BRAKES
- After servicing or replacing perform "Guided Fault Finding " using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
Banjo Bolt
- 35 Nm
- Permanent with gaskets
- Clean any corrosion from the sealing surface on the brake caliper

Installation Position of the Brake Pads.

A - Inner brake pad on piston side

B - Outer brake pad

Make sure that the spring sits in the backing plate on the inner brake pad.

NOTE:

Coat the brake pad plates with grease.

Coat the guide pin with lithium grease.
