AWD Control Module

NOTE:

All Wheel Drive (AWD) control module -J492- locations, refer to item 1.
The description for removing and installing is based on the Audi A4 Sedan.

Turn off the ignition.

-- Remove the luggage compartment floor covering.

-- Remove the cover and vehicle Tools bracket.

-- Unclip the AWD control module -A- from its mount -C-.

-- Disconnect the connector -B- from the AWD control module.

-- Install the AWD control module in reverse order of removal.

Additional work will be necessary if the AWD control module was replaced. Refer to AWD CONTROL MODULE, ADDITIONAL WORK AFTER REPLACING .
