Slotted Guide Rail Guide, Removing And Installing, K Frame: Removing

• It is necessary to program the mechanical components or control modules on the sliding sunroof after removing and installing them using Guided Functions in Guided Fault Finding at diagnostic address 09 with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the glass panel. Refer to GLASS PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the sunroof shade cover. Refer to -item  : Cover.

-- Disconnect the connector on the sunroof motor and loosen the wiring harness.

-- Mark the location -1- of the slotted guide rail guide frame on the sunroof frame.

-- Remove the bolts  -A and B-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Tighten the frame  -1- and remove the bolts  -arrow A-.

-- Lower the frame -1- at the rear, remove it and lift it out of the vehicle through the open rear lid.

-- The following components must also be removed if the slotted guide rail guide is being replaced:

• Sunroof Shade. Refer to SUNROOF SHADE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
