Hinges, Removing And Installing, Sedan: Notes

1. Hinge
   NOTE:

   Before removing the mark the position on the body and the rear lid.

   • Removing 

     -- Remove the luggage compartment side trim.

     -- Remove the nuts on the lid side. Refer to Length Adjustment at Hinge, Sedan: 

     -- Remove the bolts -3-.

   • Installing 

     -- When installing first fasten the hinge with the bolts -3-.

     -- Lightly tighten the nuts on the lid side.

     -- Close the lid, adjust to the rear lid cut-out and tighten the nuts -Item  : Nut.

2. Buffer
   • Pushed in the hinge as shown.
3. Bolt
   • Tightening specification -Item  : Bolt

1. Cable Guide
   • Removing 

     -- Remove the side cover from the cable guide.

     -- Pull the spreader pin from the clip and remove the cable guide with the clip from the hinge.

   • Installing 

     -- Push the cable guide with the clips in the hinge.

     -- Push the spreader pin in the clip.

     -- Push the wiring harness in the retaining tabs.

     -- Clip the cover over the entire length of the cable guide and adjust until stop or until it engages.

2. Cover
   • The entire length of it must be attached with the cable guide. Refer to Lid Hinge Cover, Installing .
