Camshaft, Measuring Axial Clearance: Procedure: Notes

-- Remove the camshafts, refer to Removing .

-- Mark the assignment of the roller rocker lever for installation later.

-- Remove the roller rocker lever and place it on a clean surface.

-- Re-install the camshafts with the external bracket, refer to Figure.

-- Secure the Dial Gauge - 0-10 mm VAS 6079 on the cylinder head with the Dial Gauge Holder VW 387 as shown.
