Brake Rotor, Removing And Installing : Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Do not loosen the bolts -arrows-.

WARNING: There is a risk of malfunction. Do not loosen the bolts -arrows-.
NOTE:

For the correct wear limit. Refer to BRAKES, TECHNICAL DATA .

Always replace brake rotors on both sides of the axle.

-- Thoroughly clean the brake rotor and hub contact surfaces.

-- Place the brake rotor on the hub.

NOTE: Do not tilt the brake rotor when mounting it on the wheel hub.

-- Tighten the bolt -1-.

-- Install the brake caliper. Refer to Installing .

WARNING:

Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.

After installing, press the brake pedal several times firmly to properly seat brake pads in their normal operating position.

Check brake fluid level, and fill if necessary.
