Brake Rotor, Removing And Installing : Removing

Do not loosen the bolted connections -A and B arrows-.

WARNING:

There is a risk of malfunction.

  • Do not loosen the bolted connections -A arrows-
  • Do not loosen the guide pins -arrows B-.
NOTE: When installing brake rotors, pay attention to the arrow showing the direction of travel on the brake rotor and to the left and right installed location.

-- Raise the vehicle.

-- Remove the wheels.

-- Disconnect the connector for the brake pad wear display -arrow-.

-- Release the connector from the mount while turning it 90° at the same time.

-- Remove the connector from the bracket.

-- Disengage the brake line -arrow- from it mounting.

-- Remove the brake caliper. Refer to Removing .

NOTE: Loosen the bolts -11- with the Socket - Xzn 9 T50036.

-- Hang the brake caliper on the body using a suitable wire.

CAUTION: Do not let the brake caliper hang on the brake hose.

-- Remove the brake rotor bolt -5-.

-- Remove the brake rotor.

-- Clean the brake rotor and the wheel hub before installing the brake rotor.
