Vibration Damper, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With Torque Support: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front noise insulation, refer to Noise Insulation .

-- Remove bolts -arrow-, Press stop -1- for the torque support towards the engine.

-- Remove the ribbed belt, refer to Removing .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-, and set the wiring harness off to the side.

-- Remove the lock carrier cover, refer to Front Bumper .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and air guide -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the air guide -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the coolant pump ribbed belt pulley using a Wrench - Pin Type 3212 to counterhold.

-- Remove the bolts and remove the ribbed belt pulley.

-- Remove the left and right foam block -arrow-.

-- Position the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A on the upper edges of the left and right web plate as shown.

-- Engage the Engine Support Bridge - Spindle 10-222A/11 in the left and right engine lifting eyes.

-- Lift the engine left and right with the spindle -1- to dimension -a-.

• Dimension -a- = approximately 10 mm.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and then remove the shim -2- and the vibration damper -3-.
