Compressor With Integrated MULTICONTOUR Seat Control Module, Removing And Installing, KONGSBERG MULTICONTOUR Seat: Removing

  • Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
  • Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to Removing .

-- Fasten the front seat on the Engine/Transmission Holder - Seat Repair Fixture VAS 6136. Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove front trim bracket, compressor and multicontour seat control module. Refer to Removing .

-- Remove the rubber buffers -1 and 2- for the compressor from the bracket.

-- To do this, pull the rubber buffer lengthwise -arrow A-.

-- At the same time, remove the rubber buffers along with the compressor from the bracket. -arrow B-.
