Front Seat Trim Bracket/Compressor/Control Module, Removing And Installing, MULTICONTOUR Seat: Removing

Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to Removing .

Horbiger multicontour seat:

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Carefully release the retainer -arrow- and remove the pneumatic line -1- from the compressor -2-.

-- Free up pneumatic line to the compressor.

-- Remove memory seat/steering column adjustment control module. Refer to Removing .

-- Remove sill side trim together with front trim. Refer to Removing .

-- Disengage the tunnel side seat cover molding -1- from the bracket. Refer to SEAT PAN COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MULTICONTOUR SEAT .

-- Free up the electric wire -3- from the bracket.

-- Remove the bolts -2- and -4- and the bracket -arrow-.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Disconnect the pneumatic line -1- from the compressor.

-- Remove memory seat/steering column adjustment control module. Refer to Removing .

-- Remove sill side trim together with front trim. Refer to Removing .

-- Disengage the tunnel side seat cover molding -1- from the bracket. Refer to SEAT PAN COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MULTICONTOUR SEAT .
